IN ACCORDANCE with Section XXXI of the Instruc- tions passed under the Royal Sign Manual and Signet to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony and Protec- torate of Kenya, dated the llth day of September, 1920, as amended by Additional Instructions dated the 5th day of February, 1923, I, Edward William Macleay Grigg, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Distinguished Service Order, upon whom His Majesty has conferred“the decoration of the Military Cross, Lieutenant-Colonel in His Majesty’s Army (retired), Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony and Protectorate of Kenya, hereby proclaim that the Legislative Council of the Colony shall be dissolved on the twenty--first day of January, 1927.
