                                            NOTICE.
                      NOTICE is hereby given that Armigel de Vins Wade,
                 Esquire, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British
                 Empire, the Senior Member of the Executive Council, has, by
                 virtue of the provisions of the Letters Patent passed under the
                 Great Seal of the United Kingdom constituting the office of
                 Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Kenya,
                 and providing for the government thereof, assumed the
                 administration of the Government of the Colony and Pro-
                 tectorate as from the 20th day of March, 1935, on the departure
                 of His Excellency the Governor, and has taken the prescribed
                 oaths.
