        GovERNMENT Notice No. 635

             His Excellency the Governor announces with deep regret the death of
        Masor THe Hon. Ropert WinLIAM BaRRINGTON RoBERTSON-Hvustace, D.8.0.,
        at Nairobi this morning.
            Major Robertson-Eustace entered the East African Protectorate Police
        in May, 1904, and retired in January, 1923, with the rank of Superintendent.
        On his retirement he settled in Kenya. In 1923 he was elected Member of
        the Legislative Council for Mombasa and since the General Election in 1924
        represented the Coast Electoral Area.
            By his death, the country has lost an able servant, who was deservedly
        popular amongall sections of the population.
            His Excellency, on behalf of Government and the community generally,
        extends the deepest sympathy to the relatives of the deceased.
