                                                       THE SENATE STANDING ORDERS
                                                          SPECIAL SITTING OF THE SENATE

   NOTICEis given to all Senators that pursuant to standing order 29 of the Senate Standing Orders, on the request of the Senate Majority Leader
with the support of the requisite number of Senators, I have appointed Friday, 5th August, 2016 as a day for a Special Sitting of the Senate. The
Special Sitting shall be held in the Senate Chamber, Ground Floor, Main Parliament Buildings, Nairobi, at 9.30 a.m.

   The business to be transacted at the Special Sitting shall be the consideration of—
   (a)   The County Government’s Cash Disbursement Schedule for the Financial Year 2016/2017 for the period July, 2016 to June, 2017;

   (b)   The Report of the Mediation Committee on the Community Land Bill, 2015 (National Assembly Bills No. 45 of 2015);
   (c)   The Report of the Mediation Committee on the Land Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2015 (National Assembly Bills No. 55 of 2015);

   (d)   The Report of the Mediation Committee on the Water Bill, 2014 (National Assembly Bills, No. 7 of 2014);

   (e)   The Physical Planning Bill, 2015 (National Assembly Bills No. 46 of 2015);
   (f)   The Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2015 (Senate Bills No. 16 of 2015);

   (g)   The County Governments (Amendment) Bill, 2015 ( Senate Bills No. 21 of 2015);

   (h)   The Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Bill, 2014 (National Assembly Bills No.35 of 2014);
   (i)   The National Hospital Insurance Fund (Amendment) Bill, 2015 (Senate Bill No. 9 of 2015);

   Gj)   The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2014 (Senate Bills No. 4 of 2014);

   (k)   The County Governments (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (Senate Bills No. 4 of 2016);

   (I)   The Reproductive Health Care Bill, 2014 (Senate Bills No. 17 of 2014);

   (m)   The County Outdoor Advertising Control Bill, 2015 (Senate Bills No. 11 of 2015);

   (n)   The Employment (Amendment) Bill, 2015 (Senate Bills No. 1 of 2016); and

   (o)   The County Library Services Bill, 2015 (Senate Bills No. 6 of 2015).

   In accordance with standing order 29 (5) of the Senate Standing Orders, the business specified in this Notice shall be the only business before the
Senate during the Special Sitting, following which the Senate shall stand adjourned until Tuesday, 13th September, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. when the
Senate shall continue with its regular sittings in accordance with the approved Calendar of the Senate, by a Resolution made on Thursday, 3rd March,
2016.
