DECLARATION OF A PUBLIC HOLIDAY APPOINTMENT
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 6 (1) (f) of the

National Government declares Friday, the 29th April, 2022, to be a
public holiday throughout the Republic in order to accord all Kenyans MITHAMO MUCHIRI
the opportunity to participate in the State Funeral Service in honour of as a member of the National Transport and Safety Authority Board, for
the life of the late H.E. Mwai Kibaki, the Third President of the a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 1st May, 2022.

IT IS notified for the general information of the public that the
Government appoints—
