          PROPOSED PROHIBITION OF THE USE OF CERTAIN MARK AND WORDS:
               ONIIPA TOWN COUNCIL: MERCHANDISE MARKS ACT, 1941

In terms of section 13 of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1941 (Act No. 17 of 1941), I give notice that
the Oniipa Town Council has requested the prohibition, under section 15(1) of the Act, of use by any
person other than the Oniipa Town Council of the -

(a)	      mark shown below in connection with any trade, business, profession or occupation or in
          connection with the trade mark, mark or trade description applied to goods, without the
          consent of the Town Council; and

(b)	      words Oniipa, town, council, innovation, hard work and prosperity and two guinea fowls,
          two baskets and the African ebony tree, if they are used together with the mark shown below
          in connection with a trade mark, mark or trade description applied to goods.
