      ALCOHOL-BASED HAND SANITISERS REGULATIONS: STANDARDS ACT, 2005

Under -

(a)       section 34(1)(d) of the Standards Act, 2005 (Act No. 18 of 2005), after consultation with the
          Namibian Standards Institution, I have made the regulations set out in the Schedule; and

(b)       section 20(6) of that Act, I declare that compliance with NAMS/SANS 490, published under
          General Notice No. 164 of 30 April 2020, is compulsory for purposes of that section.
