DETERMINATION OF DATE AND PLACE FOR SUBMISSION OF NOMINATIONS OF
CANDIDATES, POLLING DAY AND NOTIFICATION OF NAMES OF RETURNING
OFFICERS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF REGIONAL COUNCILS
AND MEMBERS OF LOCAL AUTHORITY COUNCILS: ELECTORAL ACT, 2014
Under the powers vested in me by section 64(1) of the Electoral Act, 2014 (Act No. 5 of 2014) read
with section 81 of that Act, I make known that, in respect of the general election of members of all
regional councils and of members of all local authority councils -
(a) I have, on the recommendation of the Electoral Commission of Namibia, determined Friday,
16 October 2020, as the day upon which a public sitting must take place -
