In terms of section 9 of the Police Amendment Act, Kragtens artikel 9 van die Wysigingswet op Polisie,
1972 (Act 94 of 1972), I hereby declare that sections 1, 1972 (Wet 94 van 1972), verklaar ek hierby dat artikels 1,
5 (b), 6 and 7, and a portion of section 8 of the said Act, 5 (b), 6 en 7 en ’n deel van artikel 8 van genoemde Wet,
in so far as such portion relates to the insertion of section vir sover sodanige deel die invoeging van artikel 34D
34D in the Principal Act, shall come into operation on in die Hoofwet aanbetref, op 1 Januarie 1973 in werking

ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE UITVOERING VAN DIE BEPALINGS VAN DIE
CHILDREN’S ACT, 1960 (ACT 33 OF 1960), AS KINDERWET, 1960 (WET 33 VAN 1960), SOOS
AMENDED GEWYSIG
Under the powers vested in me by section 93 of the Kragtens die bevoegdheid my verleen by artikel 93
Children’s Act, 1960 (Act 33 of 1960), as amended, I van die Kinderwet, 1960 (Wet 33 van 1960), soos gewysig
hereby assign the Administration of the provisions of the dra ek hierby die uitvoering van die bepalings van
said Act to the Minister of Social Welfare and Pensions, genoemde Wet op aan die Minister van Volkswelsyn en
except that I assign the administration of— Pensioene, behalwe dat ek die uitvoering van—
(a) the said provisions, with the exception of the (a) genoemde bepalings, met uitsondering van die
provisions of Chapter VII thereof, to the Minister of the bepalings van Hoofstuk VII daarvan, aan die Minister
